Fics like Under the Same Sky

Once upon a time, three women tried to make a film about justice. One wrote it. One shot it. One bled for it. Only two of them made it to the credits. Now Qi Xing sits in a prison cell with a projector buzzing at her feet and all the footage Noire never deleted. The rooftop takes. The fight scenes. The parts where they forgot they were pretending it was just a film, pretending the ending could still be happy, pretending they weren’t already breaking offscreen. This is not about fixing the story. This is about watching it – frame by frame – until the grief stops overstaying its runtime. (It won’t.)
