Fics like A Whore for the Cause

Hell is Hell. The place was practically built around suffering but that doesn't mean everyone living there suffers equally; some people clearly have it better than others. Blitzø is a whore. Not just in the sense that he's promiscuous as hell, but literally. Alone after the fire that killed his family and with fucked up moral obligations that mean he has to keep working no matter what, the imp has gotta do whatever shit he can to keep that money coming in. At least, until someone unexpected shows up to throw his life into chaos. Prince Stolas dreads his impending arranged marriage. Bound by duty and familial expectations, his future is fixed and no matter how much he might resent it, there is no escaping the gilded chains he was born to wear. Tensions are growing between the demon elite and Hell's increasingly bitter underclass and in a world of constitutionalised abuse and blatant classism, change is brewing. The pair stand on either side of a rapidly growing schism between the ‘haves’, and the ‘have nots’ and soon they will have to face the fact that, no matter how attracted to someone you might be, some people will always be the fucking enemy. More details in the notes.
