Fics like See You Around, Wolf...

She pulled her hand back, and took one last drag from her cigarette before flicking it to the ground and grinding it into the pavement with her heel. “Hey... I need to tell you something.” “What is it?” Bigby asked. A hand was placed on his shoulder and the woman in front of him leaned in to whisper: “You’re not as bad as everyone says you are.” She kissed him on his cheek, that same spot healed over but still stained with blood. Then, she walked away, pumps pounding softly into the concrete. Without looking back, she waved goodbye with two fingers. “I'll see you around… Wolf.” He would watch her, confused and intrigued, until she disappeared behind a street corner. Putting his own cigarette to his mouth and lighting it, he found himself hoping that to be the case. ( Bigby and Faith, and moments that could have happened if they had met just a few more times before her death. Of being the unseen, and seeing each other more clearly than anyone else. )
