Fics like Living with the Black Dog

Ariadne hasn't seen Arthur and Eames in nearly a year, and she's missed them both. Except, every time she tries to meet up with them Eames is absent, and it takes her much longer than she'd like to work out why. In which there are tears, Deep Meaningful Chats, Churchill references and, eventually, puppies. --- “Are we talking terminal?” Ariadne asks, her voice rising in panic, because she was right to worry, everyone takes the fucking piss out of her but she this time she was right- “No!” Arthur sounds appropriately horrified and Ariadne abruptly feels like she’s no longer going to have a heart attack, “God no, Ari, it’s nothing like that- we’d tell you if it was. I think, I think it’s just better if he talks to you. Try not to worry.”
