Fics like Dog Teeth

While attempting to infiltrate and disband Atillius, one of the galaxy's most brutal and notorious alien gladiator rings, Spock and McCoy are taken and trafficked into the organization. Kirk and the rest of the crew manage to rescue them months later, but when they do, they find that neither of them are the same anymore. ------ "The healers told him that the psyche was a delicate thing, that it might be hard to understand exactly what was going on in his first officer's head after such intense trauma. Jim thought it wasn’t hard to understand at all. It was quite simple when you looked at it this way; Spock, forced to fight to the death for his and McCoy's life day after day, had lost his mind in the process. He'd become Atillius's perfect killing machine, and in the end, it had driven him insane."
