Fics like return to root

After averting the tragedy of the world, Phainon leaves Okhema. He's the Deliverer, the hero of the world, everyone's savior. Well, he was. …He's done with that, now. The world is saved. There's no more reason for him to stay. No fate left to deliver. Nothing left they need him for. So, Phainon packs. He debates leaving a note about his departure, but, ultimately, decides against it. No one will miss him. Who could miss a man who was only a mask? He's fulfilled his purpose here, and now it's time for him to leave. Phainon is tired. He's spent a lifetime living a lie, playing the role of fate, and now that the mask has fallen away, there's nothing left to save. So, Phainon leaves before Entry Hour and he does not look back.
