Fics like Locked and Loaded

Warfare has changed a lot in the last 200 years. Men with horses and cannons and muskets in forests. Now we have men with tanks and artillery and machine guns in practically everywhere. 200 years later, we have men with mechs and orbital strike cannons and handheld railguns in everywhere. 200 years ago we had empires fighting empires. Now we have countries fighting countries. 200 years later we have superpowers fighting superpowers. The year is 2218. 12 years into the Russo-American war. Infantry, tanks, ships, are all obsolete. Replaced by one simple solution. Mechanized soldiers. At first most countries reisted the change. But in the Italian Insurgencies, one took down the whole entire army and the government. Another war where the mechs won. And another. Soon, the mechs were the face of warfare. The only area where the mechs haven't been is the sky. But who knows what's next. abandoned, but kept as it's my first work that had oc's.
