Fics like The Great Royal Bake Off: A Family Affair

When the Great British Bake Off hosts a special royal edition, Prince Henry and Princess Beatrice find themselves competing against Alex and June in the ultimate Anglo-American sibling showdown. Under the tent's pressure and Alison Hammond's infectious commentary, the couples must create cakes that represent their blended families, all while their nearest and dearest watch from the sidelines. Queen Catherine, now recovered and smiling, shares betting odds with Ellen Claremont while Nora calculates the statistical probability of Alex's inevitable kitchen disaster. Even Philip is there with Martha, making tentative steps toward reconciliation with his brother. Between Victoria sponge with peanut butter buttercream, fallen fondant White Houses, and impromptu sugar corgis, the competition becomes less about winning and more about the sweetness found in unexpected combinations. A light-hearted glimpse into the royal-presidential family dynamic after the events of the book, featuring flour-covered Alex, precision-baker Henry, and Alison Hammond's laugh that brings everyone together.
