Hongjoong squinted, reaching out to press his fingertips against the substance. It clung to his skin almost instantly, fine and sparkling under the light. He rubbed his fingers together, watching as the glimmering specks stuck to his skin. "Glitter?" he muttered under his breath, confused. Why would a squirrel bring in glitter? His gaze flickered towards the various baking decorations his staff had packed for him. There were small pouches of colored sugar, tiny jars of edible pearls, and an assortment of decorative sprinkles. He frowned, glancing between them and the glitter now coating his fingers. Had he spilled some earlier without realizing? That had to be it. He shook his head slightly, brushing his fingers off against his shirt before exhaling deeply. “Maybe I’m just more tired than I thought,” he muttered to himself.
