Fics like Get Busy Living

Two weeks after leaving Godhood behind, Hector is living in the back of the Bizzyvan, spending his time feeling sorry for himself. He's hardly spoken to a soul in that time, and certainly not any of those he hurt the most: the Gods are better off without him, no matter how many letters they have the Godpoke deliver, and the longer he can put off having to talk to Capochin, the better. A new status quo is falling into place in the Grove, and it looks like Hector's place in it is to rot away and hope everybody forgets about him. At least, until Patty and the B Team Bizzyboys show up at the van, and guilt trip him into joining them in an effort to repair their reputations by helping clean up the messes they left, starting in Milldread. Despite his hesitation, Hector agrees to join them. What follows is the first few fumbling, clumsy, reluctant steps towards...redemption? Healing? Forgiveness? Nothing Hector thinks he deserves, but if he's still here, might as well put some effort into it.
