JD was their manager and their leader. He was the one that got them gigs and a record deal and answered the fanmail. He made sure they got paid and made them famous in every corner of the troll tree. 20 years later the brothers slowly realize that JD was much more than that. He made sure they still went to school and to bed at a reasonable hour. He made them eat their vegetables and settled their petty fights and dried their tears. First and foremost, JD has always been their big brother. And in an ideal world, that’s all he would have been. or JD and the pitfalls of parentification. or Four times the brothers realize JD was more of a parent than a brother and one time JD has to admit that it wasn't fair.
