Fics like I Try to Reach For You

"Eddie’s hand reached forward to brush back a loose strand of hair from Buck’s forehead where Carla had ruffled it. For a moment, Buck was struck with envy, wishing he could feel the sensation. It was a bit ridiculous, he thought, to be jealous of your comatose self. Eddie’s hand moved down and slowly interlocked fingers with Buck’s limp hand. As Eddie’s hand closed around his, Buck felt something like a quick burst of energy run through his body. Eddie’s breath hitched and Buck wondered if he felt it too." Or after getting struck by lightning, instead of the coma dream Buck has an out of body experience
