Fics like Two War Criminals Write A Millennial Nostalgia Dream Journal

Dr. Xeno and Captain Synder weren't always high-ranked military officers and world-famous NASA scientists. No, they started out as a duo of Millennial kids in the late 90s through the 2000s; a time of recession pop, Chuck E Cheese, Blockbuster, neon everything, sparkle-studded jeans, badly-translated 4Kids anime, cringy infomercials, low-budget teen pregnancy dramas, and the golden age of emo rock. Now 3,700 Years later, as the two approach their forties, they are faced with the start of their mid-life crises. People younger than them are having kids, and those children are now treating them as their weird grandparents. In order to cope, Stanley and Xeno decide to recreate a written record of what life was like at the turn of the 21st millennium.
