Fics like Whispers of Wind

Knuckleheaded and unpredictable: two words everyone always used to describe Uzumaki Naruto. Traveling back in time to save the world from his hellscape of a future proved those words fitting. Naruto lost everyone he’d ever loved and didn’t think he could feel anything beyond the desire to complete his mission. He didn’t expect this new (old) Konoha, with new friends wearing familiar faces from his decimated past. He didn’t expect to care so deeply about random jounin he’d barely known before. And, perhaps a tad ironically, he really didn’t expect Kakashi.
