Fics like The Shelf Where I Left You

Alec Lightwood lost three years, a name he once said like a prayer, and the shape of the life that held him. Now, with a limp he didn’t earn and memories that won’t return, he is trying to stitch together something that feels like living—physiotherapy, wine-stained Friday dinners, polite conversations that feel like performances. But when a stranger’s hand brushes his in a quiet grocery aisle, something in him stirs. A story of love after forgetting. And the quiet ache of being known by someone you can’t remember.
