Fics like That Boy’s Got a Hold on Me

Vinny doesn’t expect much—just a quiet roommate, a stretch of borrowed time, the kind of temporary arrangement hockey’s full of. But Stuart moves through the apartment like he’s always been there, folding into the space with the ease of routine and the silence of someone used to holding his breath. Days pass. Things soften. Lines blur. And by the time Vinny starts to realize what’s changed, the end is already on its way.
