Fics like all fits and starts

“You think I’m pretty, Ponyboy?” Dallas asks. He says it in a joking tone, batting his eyes like girls sometimes do in movies. But there’s something dangerous underneath it. Dallas isn’t handsome, not like Sodapop. Unbidden, a memory of Dallas emerging from Buck’s party comes to mind. Ponyboy had been in a haze at the time, but he remembers how Dallas looked with his jeans barely clinging to his hips and his chest bare. He swallows, mouth suddenly dry. “I like how you look,” Ponyboy responds. Or, Ponyboy starts to get curious about sex. He finds unexpected help in Dallas and Soda.
