Fics like Lead and Latex

I've been doing my best. The apocalypse sucks, but if I'm negative and mopey all the time, that's more likely to screw me over. Besides, I have all the basics I would need. Food, water, shelter, the essentials. I'm sure everything will be alright. The virus didn't make, like, zombies or whatever, and there wasn't all-out nuclear war that I have to worry about. I just need to provide for myself, stay out of trouble, and maybe make some new friends. It'll be fine. I'll be fine. Actually, one thing that's been standing out to me is that tower off in the distance. The lights are still on, even when the city around it is completely destroyed. Might be a good idea to swing by there. I'm sure it's got plenty of stuff to loot.
