Fics like The Party Crashers vs. the World of Light

They called it the Reckoning. The fighters had stood on that cliff, facing down Galeem, the lord of light. They had only expected a brutal fight with the Master Hands. Then, the brilliant beams of light had shone down in streaks, taking every fighter captive. Pit and Dark Pit. King K. Rool. Zelda and Lucina. Every fighter was taken and placed under Galeem's control as puppets forced to dance to his tune. No fighter was fast enough to escape, nor strong enough to fight back. That was fifteen years ago. Even now, their legends live on in the hearts of the people. But when Galeem returns to finish what he'd started, four unlikely heroes rise up to face him down with the fate of their heroes, and the world, at stake.
