Fics like As the Sun Sets

The House of Night is frequently criticized for being a waste of a good premise, which is ruined by a blatant Mary Sue protagonist who accumulates unique powers and love interests without earning them, an over-reliance on dated slang and repetitive romantic drama, and a convoluted plot that stretches over too many installments. RegalHyperus' solution? Replace Zoey with Tomori Shirakumo, and watch in awe as the continuity reboots itself with a setting update AND an Adaptational Location Change, and a new cast takes the helm at the Los Angeles House of Night.
