Fics like A Soft Second

Alfred exists in a world where reality warps into an unsettling nightmare of distorted memories and emotions. In his Playhouse, a haunting place full of surreal imagery, he struggles to reconcile his deep loneliness and fragile identity. As Alfred faces the raw wounds of his psyche, he finds comfort—of sorts—in the unexpected embrace of Mr. Ribbon, a puppet-like being who offers him solace in a world that feels increasingly unreal. In this tender yet grim exploration, Alfred's journey reflects the heartache of self-discovery, isolation, and the complex nature of human (or in his case, half-dog) need. This work was not created with AI. English is not my first language, so the texts are translated, which may cause some inconsistencies or misunderstandings. Some structures might seem similar because writing is a hobby I am learning and trying to improve. I repeat certain patterns for comfort and efficiency, as my goal is to create several short stories a day. Thank you for understanding!
