Fics like Memory: Waterbomb Hainan, 2025

Hearing Summer Dream was like seeing an oasis in the desert because it meant they didn’t need to dance, only walk towards the extended front stage and freestyle until the chorus. Shen's body turned around instinctively once reaching his spot, catching sight of Xiong. Under the afternoon sunlight, his face looked normal, natural even. But after a few more glimpses, he noticed the slight pinch in between Xiong’s brows. Shen recognised that expression—that pinch isn’t because of the glaring sun. His look has the same energy as Busking Day, when they had to sit under the Bangkok sun for what was basically the entire afternoon. or; the what-ifs of their performance at Waterbomb Hainan.
