Fics like Once a Hero: Fading Courage

Completed! Post-credits epilogue scene to come. In life after life Link has fought, but still his kingdom burned. Only by sheer grit and a miracle has he been enough to save whatever is left. But he’s so tired, and Demise is getting stronger. Something has to change. While he has taken plenty of risks before, this one may be one of the hardest. Still, he has to try. Legolas has lived for over two millennia in a steady routine. Grief and peril knock at their door daily, but by the grace of the Valar they have protected their peace for an Age. But then the Valar bring something else to his doorstep—a mysterious elf, and one who faces the same fate as one he loved. Even if it will shatter his peace, he too decides to take a risk. He cares.
