Fics like Fools' Paradise

Ever since she was a little girl, Lena wanted to be part of something great so when the opportunity arrived to apply for a Governor's position in the Northern Development Project, she jumped at the chance. She is determined to do a good job and a little crush won't get in her way, right? Victor wakes up in a distant future and has to reconcile with his new world as well as the past that seems determined to catch up with him. Being one of Peach's companions only complicates things. This fic is a spin-off / DLC kind of thing to White Nights. The events in it run in parallel to White Nights but they highlight the actions of Lena and Victor and their relationship. I highly recommend reading White Nights before this but if you don't it's ok. It's just that some of the main events are described there. There is also a lot of old and current Duvos lore (my own HC). DISCLAIMER! This is written after the kickstarter and before the alpha release so any event and characters in it may be entirely different form the game. Consider it an AU.
