Fics like Rising Up From the Deep

After an earthquake trapped him in the studio he was visiting with his grandmother, 15 year old Asher found himself kidnapped and held captive by three of the studio workers. After nearly a week of torture, Asher was left for dead. Though now finally free of his captors's clutches, he is lost in a deep coma whilst the kidnappers remain at large. Will he ever recover? Will his loved ones find justice? And what happens if the men and woman who tortured him during that one week from hell find him again? What if one of them doesn't feel finished with the boy he is convinced changed his life the day the earthquake 'brought them together'? WARNING: This is heavy whump and potentially even traumatic as it is based on some real experiences. Read the tags carefully as well as the tags and notes in the first part of this series (Part 1, Drowning in the Silence). At points this story will be heartbreaking though I promise to try to give our MC the best possible ending. Note this is a work of fiction. Any similarity to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events, is purely coincidental.
