Fics like Forgotten echoes

After a near-fatal accident leaves DogDay with shattered memories and very limited mobility, life for the smiling critters becomes a puzzled mess of emotions and conflicting feelings. DogDay needs to relearn how to walk, while also trying to piece back the fragments of his lost memory, and struggle to understand why everyone acts so strange... and why CatNap suddenly seems so keen on keeping his distance, as if sheltering him from some hidden truth. But CatNap was never good at keeping secrets, and there’s something unspoken between them that refuses to stay buried. Even when memories and feelings begin to resurface, healing comes slowly, but things never remain lost for too long.
