Fics like one man's wine (is another's blood)

(1) 1x has been deprived for so long. Suspended in the endless end with nothing to do but to hone his body and sharpen his mind. Solitude begets isolation, isolation begets insanity, insanity begets recklessness. Yes, he is feeling reckless, now. "Oh, creator mine!" He croons, and he can feel how all the others flinch away, the stares they level him and Shedletsky. But he doesn't mind. Let them know, let them fear. His creator is his, nobody else's. That's all that matters. (2) Shedletsky would like it to be known that he had created 1x on complete accident. Unfortunately, that would require it being known that he was his creator in the first place, and if that got around then nobody would be hearing him out. He's starting to think he should have just sucked it up and made the big reveal. Because after so long, 1x is back. And he's calling out towards Shedletsky. (3) Something is wrong. One day, 1x had just disappeared. There were signs of a struggle. This was very worrisome. Now he's back. And he's different. Something is deeply, terribly wrong. May whatever god still exists out there help them all.
