Fics like Project Angel

Sometimes, all it takes from a plan of revenge to go down the drain was someone who you cannected to. Even if that connection locked you back with the people you swore to never bow down to ever again Or Shadow meets Sonic when he wakes up from his stasis, but Sonic is a G.U.N. experiment and Shadow finds himself infatuated with him. To the point where he finds himself putting his plan of revenge for Maria on hold, unwilling to sacrifice the courageous and daring hedgehog who attempted to protect Shadow even when he himself looked scared out of his mind. If only there was a way to help Sonic without playing right into G.U.N.'s hands and going back to being their lab rat alongside a collared companion... Or Sonic and Shadow both end up as G.U.N. experiments after Shadow's years in stasis. But at least they have each other, right?
