Fics like you could have me (on my back every night)

Forget showing up to your own funeral, showing up to your murderer’s funeral was pretty great. Jason’s feet dangled over the street ten stories down, watching the impromptu parade wind its way to Canalside. He’d wondered how he would feel afterward – vindicated? Angry? At peace? Now he just felt satisfied – like someone coming home from a hard day’s work. It turns out, shooting the guy who killed you was cathartic as fuck. He scanned the skyline for the hundredth time, looking for a familiar bat to make an appearance. But instead he saw a figure in red and black climb up to the roof of the old post office, and huffed out a sigh. Not the welcoming committee he’d expected, but he’d take it. OR Jason's POV.
