Fics like Homunculus

His mouth was parched. Out of all the pains and aches plaguing his exhausted, bruised body, it was the thirst that tormented him the most. Obi-Wan had no idea how long he had been down here, in this featureless durasteel box deep beneath the palace, for he had long lost any meaningful track of time. It could be hours. It could be days. Once he had stopped holding back, Luke had been a fast, almost feral fighter, who was not ashamed to fight mean and dirty, and Obi-Wan, who had not trained properly in over twenty long years, had found himself woefully outmatched. Trying to kill him had been such a stupid, reckless thing to do. But despair drove wiser men than him to great stupidity, he thought bitterly, and at the time, he had felt he had had nothing left to lose. Or, Luke has returned to the fold and joined his Father in what was once the Jedi Temple, now Imperial Palace. It doesn't go the way Obi-Wan imagined it would.
