Fics like My teenage heart-attack keeps talking back to him

Mike and Vic had recently recruited Jaime to be the bassist in their new band, and they'd been working on their first album for a few weeks now. Mike threw the party to "celebrate what they had done so far" but it was clear he threw the party just because he wanted to. Since Jaime was in the band, of course he was invited, and of course he wouldn't decline a good time, but getting drunk and meeting new people wasn't the true reason he'd came. Along with himself, Mike and Vic also recruited Tony, the lead guitarist, to join the band. He was the reason Jaime went to the party.
