Fics like Die With A Smile

After giving Harry his memories and the key to defeating Voldemort, Severus thought that dying would be a somewhat peaceful affair. He wasn’t exactly wrong. But what came after death almost made him wish he was back serving the egocentric piece of shit that was Lord Voldemort. Almost. When Severus Snape opened his eyes after what he was certain had been the grand finale of his endlessly miserable existence, he was not greeted by heavenly harps or a shining white light. Ah, yes. Hell. Literal, fiery, overdramatic Hell. “Because where else would I end up?” he muttered as he pushed himself into a seated position. The scenery was just as uplifting as he’d imagined—a desolate wasteland that stretched on forever, punctuated by faint, distant screams.
