When I woke up I felt a tightness in my chest and,” He jestured to his left side “This had appeared.” - Or - The Netherese Orb absorbs life energy and now Gale kills everything he touches. After a year of fruitless research in his tower, he goes to Baldur’s gate looking for answers. He takes a job as a cook in a seedy tavern so he can use the animals on the menu to feed the orb. Astarion is out on the prowl and his latest hunting ground shows promise. It’s a shame the handsome guy in the kitchen is so shy. He would be excellent prey. **This fic updates around 1 to 2x a week.
