Alastor never expected to have a child. After the death of his mother, he had resigned himself to being alone. That resignation had only solidified when he arrived in Hell, and all that it entailed. Yet somehow, a century or so later, he found himself with a fully grown child and tentative relationship with the King of Hell. Never in a million years could he have predicted this outcome, but he wouldn’t trade it for the world. Even as he navigates the wreckage left behind by Heaven and their rampage, as he supports his daughter’s dreams and truly begins to let himself feel for his angel…. There are many things yet to be uncovered. What will Heaven do next, now that the King is finally free? What will become of Charlie’s hotel? And what secrets truly lurk in Lucifer’s shadows…? Or: Alastor and Lucifer help their daughter pick up the pieces of her hotel and finally begin working on themselves as a family, while also trying to keep it a secret from the rest of Hell. But the threat of Heaven still looms large, as do any questions regarding Lilith…. Sequel to “My Fawn”
