Fics like Darkstep

"Mark only touched him in San Francisco now, when he felt like it. When he was bored of other people or when he wanted someone who knew how to kiss him the way he liked and make him laugh when the sex was over and they rolled over and went back to being best friends. Sometimes, Mark had someone else, but Donghyuck came anyway because he liked it too much when Mark asked for him." Mark and Donghyuck figure out their messy, sometimes totally fucked situationship over eighteen months in San Francisco. Mark thinks about the straight and narrow but can't remember how to stay on the supposedly righteous path. Donghyuck tries to live in a new city and remember all the reasons that he shouldn't give his heart to Mark, looking to new friends for lessons in how to grow up and move on.
