Fics like The Things We Carry

As Harry joins the Wizarding World, he starts to be reminded of wounds he can't even remember. He tries to play the role they all seem to want him to but things begin to unravel and he falls back on old coping mechanisms of dissociation. This is his descent into hell as he begins to remember his previous life as Anthy Himemiya. Healing isn't easy, it isn't linear and it requires help. Or: A traumatized Anthy's perspective on going through the events of the early Harry Potter books. OR: An exploration of dissociation, repressed memories, trauma, and the trauma of not remembering.
