Fics like plumage

You are a janitor at the EHRC- the Ebott Harpy Research Center. It isn't the greatest job in the world, but you call yourself an optimist, and realize that it was the only job you could get that would let you be close to them. And besides, you have your own way of making it even better. It may not be...legal. But it's not like it's hurting anyone. ...until you're caught. Fuck. ......and now, the center is....offering you a job. To be a Harpy Caretaker. On their specialized, hand-selected team of Harpy experts and doctors. ...........Yeah, you're not quite sure where this whole thing will go. But you do know you would be an absolute idiot to refuse the offer of a literal lifetime. (Another thing, why do the Harpies like you so much??) --- Or, you really like birds. Specifically, the monster kind. This can surely only go well.
