Fics like Spider’s Web

There’s blood on his hands that leaves when he looks down and blinks; he owes it to Ash. There’s the echo of snapping bones in his ears when he sees flowers, and he owes that to Ash. Screams and sobs and deaths haunt his dreams. He owes it all to Ash. He hates how everything ties back to him. The war is over but it’s not. Flying, eating, laughing—he can’t even breathe without being reminded of him. A rocket pops sooner than he means to light it. It’s fine. He’s close anyways. Or, an alternate ending to s1, where Spoke let Ash’s words fester and goes to finish the job anyways
