Fics like Papilio

6/9/26 update: Sorry, been focusing on chores I put off during school, but rest assured that this story has lived rent free in my head and I hope to at least get something out soon. Thank you again for your patience and interest! After secretly defying her family’s wishes, Caroline prepares to traverse the fog of London in support of her friends. Her fingers brush against a special copy of Jane Eyre. A canon-divergent re-imagining of Shadows of London 2 featuring some major plot changes, deeper exploration of character relationships, and resolution of loose ends from the original story. This fic was planned before any relevant event stories, side stories, author Q&A, etc. were released. However, it does incorporate quite a few elements introduced in these post-main story media. Picks up from the very end of Chapter 1.
