Fics like Sonic prime: Paradoxical entrapment

After the events of Sonic Prime, Shadow is the only one who knows where the Paradox Prism is hidden—and naturally, Eggman wants it. When a botched ambush lands Sonic and Shadow in captivity together, close proximity becomes a problem. Or perhaps it’s the solution neither of them saw coming. But escaping is only the beginning. With Eggman closing in, the battle for the Prism forces them to confront more than just an enemy. As the line between rivalry and something deeper begins to blur, they’re left facing the truth they’ve been avoiding all along. By the time they realise what they truly mean to one another, will the moment to act have already slipped away? Or—this fic was once a oneshot of "the classic Sonic and Shadow trapped in a box. Again!" Before it then spiraled into an entire plotline. Completed!
