Fics like Family Ties

Everyone always says that dying is worst for the loved one left behind. Sam has to assume that only applies when the person in question stays dead. Because his life has been a steaming pile of shit since his resurrection in the Egyptian desert. Mikaela broke up with him. He hasn't seen Bee in months. The Autobots are ignoring him. He's been exiled from college and left to the mercies of his overbearing parents. But it's inevitable, really. If there's an Autobot disaster to be had, Sam will wind up in the middle of it. Maybe this time around it'll end up doing him some good. With every battle he ends up growing closer to the Autobots. Maybe this time he'll end up getting a second family out of it. The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb. Does that still apply when most of the blood is actually Energon? And why the fuck have all the Autobots started bowing at him?
