Fics like I’m the medic, dammit

As he stood by the edge of the crater, looking down into its content, he heard Optimus’ words playing on a loop in his head. As he watched the colourful metal flinch in pain trying to move, he remember the horror stories shared by Arcee. As he saw the blue splashes of Energon on the arms, he thinks back… to looking at his poor brother every time he was in the hospital. As he saw the pool of Energon under the broken up chassis, he understood. He had never before understood his mom like he did now. Or Noah, after rebuilding Mirage after the fight in Peru, starts learning about Cybertronians and how they work, effectively becoming their human medic. But one crash landing later, and all his new knowledge will be put to the test.
