Fics like Heat of the Moment

After a grueling 12-hour shift at Station 24, Lucy and Ike unwind at their usual haunt, Donkey's, the local dive bar. What starts as a casual night of drinks and banter between the two firefighters quickly shifts into something unexpected—an unplanned kiss that changes everything. As the morning light filters through the blinds, Lucy wakes up with a pounding headache, a naked Ike beside her, and the nagging feeling that something between them has irrevocably shifted. But things take an even more unexpected turn when Lucy realizes she’s pregnant. Struggling to come to terms with the situation, she’s forced to confront her complicated feelings for Ike, and what it means for their friendship, their careers, and the future they never planned. What started as a night of reckless abandon now holds a life-altering consequence.
