Fics like Over the Hill Right Now (and You're Looking for Love)

The driver rolled down the passenger window. He was an older guy, maybe just pushing fifty. What was left of Freddy's apathetic approach finally dissolved. For a second he was caught up enough in taking in the other man's appearance that it didn't even bother him. He had that classic suave look down to a T. Combed back hair, dark eyes. One tanned hand still rested on the steering wheel holding a half smoked cigarette. The other arm leaned on the center console. He looked like he'd driven straight out of an ad for marlboros. Freddy thought of old Hollywood. For a giddy second he felt like he was a runaway bride in a Burt Reynolds film.
