Fics like The Person Falling Here Is Me

A Derry Girls fanfiction set immediately after the events of Season 3. As Michelle Mallon and her friends finish their last few months of school, she finds herself caught between the wild recklessness of youth and the weight of impending adulthood. A chance meeting at a student party leads her to Flynn, a charming but complicated bartender with a past more entangled with hers than she could ever imagine. What begins as a thrill—a secret romance, late-night drives, and stolen moments—quickly spirals into something Michelle isn’t prepared for. When an unplanned pregnancy threatens to upend everything, Michelle is forced to navigate love, loss, and the harsh reality of growing up in a world that isn’t always kind to girls like her. Told from Michelle’s perspective, this story explores the friendships, struggles, and tough choices that shape her journey, all set against the backdrop of 1990s Derry, where the past lingers, the future looms, and nothing ever goes quite to plan.
