Fics like The Stars are Quiet for You [On Hiatus]

Madi just wanted to enjoy his dad's cabin before his family sold it. Take some time to himself, come to terms with the loss, enjoy nature. Sometimes things don't go to plan, though, and he ends up staying longer than he expected in order to help someone who needed it. Namely, an alien catgirl with serious abandonment issues. Yeah... there goes your world view. Update as of 8/11/25: Unfortunately, I'm placing this project on hiatus until further notice. This was a story that I started writing off of a whim, with no real plan or inspiration save for "guy meets alien catgirl while alone in the woods and has to help her out." Looking back, it was neither particularly inspired nor well-thought out, especially since I was already writing two other massive fics. This will be a project I come back to much later, once I've finished writing the things I actually want to. I hate to set a precedent of leaving fics unfinished, but it needs to sit on the back burner for a bit. Thank you guys for your love and support <3
