Fics like Captain's Best Friend

“About this crew manifest,” Forrest said, putting a PADD down on the desk in front of Archer. “You know it’s not my policy to quibble who you choose.” “A policy I’m grateful for, sir. It’s good to know that the people I’m taking into deep space will be ones I’ve chosen to have there with me.” “It’s not the people that are the problem, Jon. It’s the dog.” ~ Archer wants to bring a dog aboard the Enterprise. Starfleet isn't convinced.
