“Yes, I - I just have my house clothes on,” Viktor mutters, like this is something to be embarrassed about. The knot in Jayce’s stomach releases instantly. “Oh! Well, it is Sunday, after all. Doesn’t everyone have something comfortable on today?” Viktor seems to ponder this. His head tilts, a loose curl of hair swaying to the side. “I suppose that’s true,” he agrees, pulling the door all the way in, frame still hidden behind it. Jayce doesn’t see it until he’s inside, turning to face Viktor, cup of coffee outstretched to his partner. He almost drops the damn thing. Or Viktor casually wears skirts, Jayce finds out. Thus begins the story of their budding love.
