Fics like A Gift Freely Given

Aaliyah hums. She should be embarrassed, but she’s not. She’s happy. Or what passes as happy. Feeling relaxed and at ease. Emotions she hasn’t felt since the last time she was given a small sliver of freedom and a taste of choice. A taste that turned out to be an illusion. Her new friend sent away after a single day. And maybe that’s why she’s also feeling bold. Knowing that she doesn’t have time to spare. That the walls are closing in on her. Marriage and babies and Riyadh await. Zara’s presence not guaranteed beyond this night. Which means she needs to act now if she has any hopes of getting what she wants. Soft curves. Smooth skin. Electric touches. OR The first fic in a series that will explore how season 1 would have gone if Aaliyah had enough courage to act on her attraction in 1x03.
