Chenle stills. His eyes snap open, the blurry edges of his vision sharpening as he tilts his head upward—and immediately locks eyes with Jaemin. Jaemin, whose lips curve into a soft, amused smile that creases his cheeks. The low light makes his features seem sharper, his hair slightly tousled and looking good in a way that’s absurdly unfair. For a single, disorienting second, Chenle thinks: Oh my god, he’s evil. The thought barely has time to take root before it’s replaced by something infinitely more alarming: Oh, he’s beautiful.
